There's another new park in town. Plymouth to be exact. And why hasn't anyone opened a skatepark at the Mall of America yet? I need somewhere to drop my parents off so I can skate.

What a town. Most plane rides I go on I hope for the thing to crash. New York? Let's crash. San francisco? Let's crash. Italy? Let's crash. But this was different. This is going to be a great year for everyone. I broke 200 bowling on January 1st this year and since then my life is falling into place. Smashing my face was the best thing I've ever done. Life is going to be worth living this year.

what up? vert doubles was last night, tony and andy won, bob and bucky got second, and rune and crum got third. some sick shit went down. bob & bucky were the sickest but they fell. kf indy over fs 540, switch frontside air over switch nose grind, bucky held a board in ollie blunt position and bob jumped off his on to it and kickflipped out?!? frazier got knocked the fukkkkkk out on a mute to fakie board transfer. ok, that's about it, best trick is tonight, i'll keep you posted.....

Reports are in and your X-Games Vert winner this year is the underdog Pierre Luc-Gagnon. Dooner said it was hands down. Then Rune got ripped off for second place and although Dooner personally had him listed second he ended up third and flipped off the judges. Second place went to Bob - fourth place Bucky - fifth place Chris Gentry. And if anyone knows Danny Mayer, he is skating vert again and ended up 11th place.

If anyone cares (and I do) the vert preliminary contest was yesterday. Bob, last years winner, barely made the cut in 10th place. It was an unimpressive showcase but Pierre-Luc qualified first with Bucky close behind. The actual contest is today and I will hopefully be getting some news about what happens. Tomorrow is best trick and doubles (vert) and then the street qualifiers start on Sunday. Stay tuned to hardflip for fat assed updates...

Local Legend Dave LeRoux tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Christine.
