05/19/04 INTERVIEW BY BRIAN PERRY
Let's start with the obvious question. How did you get hooked up with
Birdhouse? Brian Sumner set it off a while before and then things just fell
into place over the last couple months
When is your model coming out? Who's doing the graphics? My first board
should be out in june and Jeremy Klien and Sean Cliver are drawing up the
ideas I gave them
Was it hard for you to leave Iota? hellz yeah, but you know I'm down for
them and there down for me.
You've been in Europe for a spell. How was that? It was great! the spots
are amazing and its alot more laid back forsure, just watch out for you
pockets
You missed the wallenberg challenge. You think you could've made the
frontside flip first try? I dont know, it looked pretty hecktic but a roll
in would have been nice
Birdhouse has a solid team again. Have you had a chance to get to know
Donny or any of your other new teammates? Yeah , definetly , those guys are
sick. we all went to Europe together so it was a great chance to get to know
all of them, they all rip and we get a long good.
How's your body holding up? you know sometimes you get broke off and
sometimes you feel like a million bucks but you never quit.
You going to stay around Minneapolis this summer? yeah I really want to
film for the birdhouse video around here just cause it's where I'm from and
the spots aren't blown out.
What skaters have been on your radar lately? Anyone we should watch out
for? So many rippers out there but I've been skating with Jameil Nowpravar
lately and he rips.
Have you been getting any footage? yup and im saving it for the 10 year
FOBIA video and Birdhouse video
Congratulations with B-House. That's pretty huge. Any last thoughts?
Thanks alot, the only thing I can really think of is thanking everybody who
has helped me or supported me in anyway . Stay focused on your goals. And oh
yeah, shop at FOBIA...
