Both of these spots are around the corner of 3rd Ave & 5th St. in Minneapolis. Kinda behind the Deja Vu. It's a bust during the weekday but nights and weekends seem cool.

The farmers market in Minneapolis can be a fun hit if your in the area. The parking lot is kinda rough but smooth ass concrete under the roofs. Take Lyndale north out of uptown to Caesar Chavez.

John Ireland school and church is a good place to skate. It's at 1503 Boyce Road in Hopkins, just off Blake Road. They've got a four stair thats good for learning doing stuff of stairs, some ledges, and on the other side they've got some bigger stairs and hand rails. Check it out.

Graffiti Skatepark
1912 S Greeley St. in Stillwater
phone: (651)-439-8847
(its just off hwy.36 by about 2 blocks)

Currently the skatepark is open 3:30-8 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:30-10 on Friday and 1-10 on Saturday. The cost is $3. You are supposed to wear a helmet and have a signed waiver, neither really matter at all. During the summer the skatepark is open almost all day every day. The floor gets slippery when its wet outside. The sheet metal on the ramps will eat your board. The mini ramp sucks. The quarterpipes are bank ramps. The bank ramps are launch ramps. The rails and the box are pretty nice. The park is really small, the wood on some of the ramps is bad. There is a slightly larger outdoor area, with more awesome ramps, but that of course, is closed for the winter. The population at Graffiti is about 50% little kids falling in your way with their Tony Hawk boards and dreams of 900's.
Occasionally there is a rollerblader, although scooters are a more common sight right now. Then the rest of the people there are either local suburban kids who rip, or local suburban kids who suck. Either way the vibe is pretty good. So i guess if you like short runways, shitty ramps and lots of little kids, or if you just love skating and can't get to 3rd lair, then come to Graffiti. Just please, leave your little siblings and/or your scooter at home, please. Oh, and dont steal anybody' board, that happens alot, and let me say, thats not very nice, or skateboarderly of you.

This park has a 6 foot spine, 10 foot vert, grind box, street course, corner bowl, and some other stuff. All pads required, and have to have a sheet signed. The cost is $5.00 for one session, which is 2 hours long. One bad thing is there are lots of rollerbladers.
